This place is a very special place. It retains all it's character. You get your food very quickly as you should and there is a personal feel to it all.
Definitely go there asap because he is retiring soon. -

It is actually a local place for visitors. The service is very friendly and the food is great. We ordered a Carmine pizza and a Pasta noodle, and I was surprised with the Pasta taste which was so flavored. Customer can order staters but dont eat too much bread because you can be full before taking your main food.

This place is awesome, I have not been in a while but when I lived in Aberdeen I frequented this place everyday. Carmine has a real big personality and the food is great. My brother worked here while we lived here and I got to know the owner quite well. The best Italian place in the area. Prices are very affordable and the food is delicious. Hope Carmine is still olaying for all the soccer games.

We had the lunch special; an appetizer, entree, and dessert for £5. The minestrone soup was good, nothing spectacular. The margherita pizza was good, mostly because of the flaky crust which matches the bread we got with our soups as a starter. The tiramisu was laced with rum, I was wondering if I could drive home after eating it! Good meal, not spectacular. The atmosphere was more fun than anything else.

Been there several times in the past (not recently) and while I was recommended by an actual Italian friend, the food is between "it's just about ok" to "really not great". I love pizza's and certainly this place has terrible ones. Even a simple standard take away is way nicer. I can't comment on the other items on the menu so maybe the pastas are better. The chef and waitress are fairly friendly and indeed the whole restaurant feels "personal" and one feels that you entering someone home. Nothing pretentious and that's a good thing.
